Our Radevormwald plant is centrally-located in Germany (approximately 40 miles/60km from the international airports of Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn). Our plant, which occupies almost 24,000 square metres in area, produces rotationally-symmetrical centrifugal castings in a wide variety of stainless steels. A further core competence of Kuhn Special Steel lies in the ready-for-use manufacture of complex, drawing-based components, which have come to account for almost 70% of the volume of orders received. We have at our disposal a set of state-of-the-art plant machinery to process these components, along with a highly-qualified workforce with the constant day-to-day commitment required to meet the demanding standards of our customers.

Kuhn Special Steel Asia (KSSA) turns out, from a production facility measuring some 4,450 square metres in area, stainless steel components that all bear the familiar Kuhn seal of quality.

Just like Kuhn Special Steel in Radevormwald (Germany), Kuhn Special Steel Asia specialises in the production of rotationally-symmetrical components created using the centrifugal casting technique.

The production facility is strategically located in the centre of Asia, and is therefore within easy reach of that continent’s important markets, such as those of China, Japan and Korea. With this expansion, Kuhn Special Steel equipped itself to cope with future development, while at the same time creating a lasting presence in the world’s major regions of economic growth.

Kuhn Special Steel’s future international potential grew once more in February 2016, with the founding of the sales and distribution company Kuhn Special Steel North America, Inc. This adds our American customers with a direct local link to Kuhn Special Steel.
